Welcome to the Incipient Canton of Athelington, sponsored by the Barony of Illiton. We are located within the Midlands region of the Middle Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism. In other words, the counties of Bureau, Putnam and LaSalle in North Central Illinois.
The Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating the arts and skills of of pre-17th century Europe. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops and more.
