I send greetings on behalf of myself and my Lady, Saoirse O'Callaghan.

We would take up the gauntlet to hold the traditional Pennsic War Orphan's Gathering, otherwise known as the POG, to be held at our Estates this Saturday August 7th. Everyone is invited to show up anytime after 1pm and we will be going until either everyone leaves or passes out, whichever comes first.

I can guarantee no fighting, however if you have your gear you are most welcome to bring it and if fighters show up space is definitely available to fight. There is the possibility of having a small archery range setup in the side yard as well if I can get it safely assembled.

This is a BOYB event (Bring your own Beverage). If you wish to bring a dish or something to share you are most welcome to. We will be making hamburgers, dogs, etc on the grill after 5 or 6. If you want something else grilled then by all means bring it along. Also if people have portable grills they are also welcome as we only have one and it's not terribly big but we make due with what we have.

Be advised this is an UNOFFICIAL NON SCA SANCTIONED event. If fighting is available and you decide to fight it is your responsibility if you get injured. I hate having to say that, but hey...we all know how the world works unfortunately.
