This post will be stickied and will contain all currently or soon to be open
officer positions within the Barony of Fenix. If you are interested in filling
one of the positions below, please contact the Seneschal (

All officers must be SCA members in good standing. Additionally, they are responsible
for sending in regular reports to the regional and kingdom officers and providing updates
at local business meetings along with the regular duties of their specific office. Finally,
each officer is expected to use the technologies implemented by the Barony like the
fenix gmail accounts and the website regularly.
A&S Minister
The Minister of the Arts is an officer of the SCA whose job is to foster the arts in whatever means he or she can. This is often done through competitions, classes, and arts displays.

Chatelaine
The Chatelaine is the first point of contact for new members and encourages new members in learning the ways of the society. He or she supports the local group in promoting growth, provides information, and/or is a link to relevant information as required. In addition, the chatelaine maintains contact with and assists other Local Branch Chatelaines where appropriate. Quarterly reporting is due to the Regional Chatelaine. Finally, a chatelaine trains a deputy to be his or her successor.

Chirurgeon
The members of the Chirurgeonate provide first aid on a volunteer basis
at SCA events. First aid performed in the SCA is Good Samaritan in nature
and is provided to anyone who asks at no cost to the recipient.

Rapier Marshal
The Rapier Marshal is responsible for overseeing rapier activities at practices and
managing combat at events in order to ensure safety and observation of all rules
and procedures.
