Greetings All,

I have a few items that I want to discuss in this letter. Firstly warrant cards will be mailed out at the latest February 10th. These cards will have on them an expiry date. It will be different for everyone as the expiry will be the date of the first certification that you have that expires. For example if your CPR expires in June 2003, Your First Aid in June 2005 and your SCA card May 2003 then your warrant will expire May 2003. I will list this expiry on the Middle Kingdom webpage so that you will be able to check on line when you need to resend your certifications.

Secondly I wanted to ask that all journeyman and master Chirurgeons make sure that when an apprentice works with them that they take the time to fill out and apprentice evaluation and send it to me. I have heard many a journeyman and master say "well I just don't know why so and so has never become warranted." Well very likely it is because I do not have enough or in other cases ANY apprentice evaluations on the person to be able to see if they are qualified to advance and be warranted. There is an on line form that you can fill out if you cannot get the paper form in the mail. On behalf of the Midrealm apprentices PLEASE, PLEASE send these forms in.

Remember that quarterly reports are due to me on March 1. I would appreciate it if you even just sent a one line e-mail, or a postcard to me or your regional saying that you did nothing. It makes it easier to keep track of everyone if we even get just a small report. As well remember to send in your event report forms with your report.

I am hoping to have a Midrealm Master Chirurgeon meeting in the next couple of months. If you are a Master and have a preference as to which event you'd like this held at please contact me.
