I need to make a clarification in the Advanced Certification Apprenceship Process. The process should read (Changes are in BOLD):

If you have advanced medical certifications you MAY not need to follow the normal apprenticeship process. Instead of the 4 shifts you MAY BE ABLE to work one shift with either myself, a regional or a WARRANTED CHIRURGEON OF THE MIDDLE KINGDOM CHIRURGEONS CHOICE. The event and who you would be working with would be arranged ahead of time with me. If you have advanced certifications and are interested in becoming a chirurgeon please contact me and we can work out the details. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE DECISON TO LET A PERSON TAKE THIS ROUTE WILL ALSO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION HOW LONG THE APPLICANT HAS BEEN IN THE SCA.

The website has been updated with the current warranted chirurgeons and when their certifications have expired. I have also posted a list of the apprentices currently registered with the Middle Kingdom Chirurgeons office. By this point all warranted Chirurgeons should have their new warrant card. If you have not received one yet please let me know. I did receive a couple back with the note that the address had changed.

I met many of you at Val Day and I hope to meet and speak with many more of you. I will be attending the Heraldic Symposium, Milwaukee, WI in March; April orders are not set yet; and in May I will be attending Northshield Coronet, Minneapolis MN, Midrealm Coronation OH, Aethelmarc War Practice PA, and Mermaids Retreat WI.
