Greetings All,

It seems to have been a slow winter for events, or at least event reports. Don't forget to prepare yourself for the upcoming summer season. Restock the first aid kit, don't forget the sunscreen and remember report forms as well!

I would like to welcome Negan Suren Arslan as our new Oaken regional and thank Herr Ulrich for his service in that position.

Pennsic is approaching and the Chirurgeonate is gearing up for well organized and safe Pennsic once again. Master Justinos (Justin) is the CiC this year and has a very dynamic and energetic team working with him. He is looking for chirurgeons to volunteer their time at Pennsic this year and as well there are jobs that can be done by willing volunteers who do not have first aid certifications (no they are not cleaning tasks). Any and all help would be appreciated. If you would like to volunteer in advance to let him know you are coming, or if you have any questions please feel free to contact him at chirurgeon@pennsicwar.org.

We are holding a blood drive at Pennisc this year and we ask you all to consider donating.

During Pennsic War time (late summer and fall), blood supplies are very low. We can do our part by donating here at War. Be a hero off the battlefield, help someone win their fight to live.

When: Friday, August 8, 2003 and Monday, August 11, 2003
            10:00am till 4:00pm
Where: Zion Baptist Church (in basement)
             148 Curry Road, Slippery Rock, PA
*The church is within walking distance from the Pennsic
grounds (on the way to the woods battle), and will be
added to the hay wagon route for the day.

The Red Cross will need reservations in order to plan for staffing, so please contact Lady Angelique Michele d'Herisson at: scahedgehog@aol.com if you are interested. She will get back with you closer to Pennsic for actual time-slot sign-up.

I will be holding a Midrealm Master Chirurgeon meeting at Crown Tourney. I will contact each Midrealm Master directly and let them know of the time for the meeting.

I anyone would like to speak with me I will be attending Northshield Coronet, Midrealm Coronation, Aethelmarc War Practice, Midrealm Crown and Mermaids Retreat.
