Thank you to everyone who sent their second quarter reports in, your time and effort is really appreciated.

The position of Middle Kingdom Waterbearer is now open. Please send your application to me by either regular mail or e-mail. Application deadline is October 1, 2003. Many thanks to Lady Soffya von Kulp for her work over the last few years.

Pennsic is rapidly approaching and please remember to take your certifications with you if you would like to volunteer at Pennsic this year. To be able to volunteer as a warranted chirurgeon your name MUST appear on one of the Kingdom rosters, or you can show an warrant cards/form, or you can bring your Kingdom Chirurgeon into point and they can vouch for you and you will need to show your certs. If these conditions cannot be met then you will be more than welcome to volunteer at Pennsic this year as an apprentice.

There is a blood drive at Pennsic this year please consider giving the gift of life. Information can be found off of the Chirurgeon page that is linked to the main Pennsic web site.

Be a hero at War - Save a Life!

Every year, we go to War, have fun, portray the heroes of years past, and honor the heroes of the SCA. This year, be a hero in the real world: donate blood and help someone else fight a battle to live. The Red Cross will have blood drives on both Friday, August 8 and Monday, August 11 in the basement of the Zion Baptist Church. This church is within walking distance from the Pennsic grounds, and will also be added as a Haywagon stop each blood drive day.
