Greetings All,

Firstly I would like to give a thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make Pennsic a success. All of your hard work and dedication made this year's Chirurgeon activates at Pennsic run smoothly.

I would like to let everyone know that you will be receiving a new warrant card by the end of October. This card will be valid until the end of December but it will only be valid if accompanied by valid first aid and CPR certifications and a valid SCA membership. I will also be sending out cards to apprentices. This will be new and I'm not quite sure of the format yet but they will be a different colour than the warrant cards but they also will only be valid upon presentation of valid certs and membership.

We are still accepting applications for Middle Kingdom water bearer. If you would like to be an integral part of the health and safety of the Kingdom but do not wish to be a Chirurgeon this is your chance! (Though if you are a chirurgeon you are welcome to apply as well!) Applications need to be sent to me, my address is listed in the Pale. I will accept both e-mail and regular mail.

I am currently accepting applications for the position of Middle Kingdom Chirurgeon. The due date for applications is May 1st. Please be advised that this position does require organizational skills and the ability to travel to Curia meetings and in addition to the regular duties of the Kingdom Chirurgeon you will be responsible for either being the CiC for Pennsic 34, or for organizing application acceptance for the position. A reminder that Domesday reports are due December 1st and ALL warranted chirurgeons are required to report Domesday. Note that if you do not report a Domesday you will not receive a new warrant card.
