Greetings All,

This is the time of year when the Chirurgeons of the Known World get busy because outside camping events start to happen on a regular basis. Believe me when I say that we all would like to be much less busy! Yep that means that everyone needs to remember to look after themselves, using that sunscreen that you carry around with you and keeping yourself hydrated are just two of the many things you can do to keep yourself healthy this summer. Also if you have some extra time I know the waterbearers are usually would like to have more help in keeping the field watered, lend a hand it would be very appreciated!

I have received notice that my Constellation Regional Chirurgeon, Nonna the Midwife, is going to need to step down and we are in need of a new Constellation Regional. The second job that is opening up is the position of Chirurgeon in Charge of Pennsic for Pennsic War 34 (2005). This is a huge undertaking and will require a person who has had experience in working at large events, most especially past experience working at Pennsic War. They must have computer access and the ability to be organized. The chosen individual will need to attend at least part of Pennsic War 33 this year and the time to attend the entire Pennsic War 24 and devote their entire war to the Chirurgeonate, the year they are Chirurgeon in Charge.
