I hope that this letter find you all healthy and happy and enjoying your summer SCA events to their full extent. Don't forget to keep your self hydrated at events and helping waterbearing at events is also very much appreciated. Speaking of such the position of Middle Kingdom Waterbearer is still open. Also remember that war is upon us, and as always we need volunteers to staff Chirurgeons' Point. Please come to Chirurgeons' Point as soon as possible after setting up camp so that you can select a couple of shifts that work for your schedule and vacation. This is a great place to work with chirurgeons from all over the known world and learn helpful techniques that allow our attendees to get back to playing the game quickly. If every chirurgeon commits to being at Chirurgeons' Point for a shift or 2, we will have more than enough help.

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that we have chosen Lady Rowena Lindsay to by my replacement as Middle Kingdom Chirurgen. She will take over the position in October at the first Northshield Coronation where I will be required to step down before the Principality of Northshield goes kingdom as I will no longer at that point live in the Middle Kingdom. I hope that you all give her your congratulations and support. Congratulations Rowena! Also thank you to the other very well qualified applicants. It is very nice to know that there are that many qualified people and that the Kingdom is in good hands for the future.
