Introduction
The Webminister is an important officer, playing many roles and serving many people. The Webminister's pages represent the SCA to people both inside and outside of our organization. In this capacity, we act as Chatelain(e)s and the pages we design should put our best foot forward. Webministers are also an information source for the populace of the Society. We strive to disseminate information as quickly, easily and efficiently as possible to the populace. In this respect, Webministers are a special type of chronicler, and most of the core rules for the chroniclers also apply to this office.
A Webminister, like all other officers of the SCA, must:

New Webministers must send a change of office form and letter of intent to the Kingdom Chronicler, and to his/her Deputy of Internet Affairs. Copies of these documents should also be sent to the regional/Principality Deputy of Internet Affairs and Webminister if one exists. This letter should include your mundane and SCA name as well as your address, telephone number (including area code), e-mail address and the URL of the web page(s).
If the Webminister is the first Webminister for a group, he/she needs a letter from the local Seneschal stating that the pages are an official representation of the group; this is not needed for a change of office form.
If you are leaving your office, you need to send your Kingdom officer a letter of resignation and a recommendation for a successor. You also need to send copies to your regional/Principality officer if applicable. Their addresses appear in the Kingdom newsletter.
Warrants are listed on a Warrant Roster which is signed by Their Majesties (or by a designated warranting authority, such as the Territorial Prince and Princess) and the Kingdom Chronicler. Warrants are usually issued at each Coronation.
Webministers may be warranted if they meet the requirements listed above in Requirements for a Webminister and Requirements for a Site, have maintained their pages for six months, and follow the procedures listed in this manual.
