Midlands Regional Chatelaines Meeting

This is a meeting for newcomer officers at any level in any area. Your issues, concerns, and ideas that relate to the office of the Chatelain(e) or Hospitaller will be discussed.
So bring any questions or problems you have regarding recruiting or retaining newcomers and join in the conversation!

Lunch.
Lunch will be provided by Haus Adelbrecht for a modest fee. Lunch will begin in the main lodge at 12noon.

Ladies Tea
The women of the known world are invited to gather for an hour in the afternoon. Bring your embroidery, latest gossip, and an appetite and enjoy good friends and delicious food. The Ladies Tea is intended for adult women only

Squirrel Wrestling
You've heard the rumors. Come learn the truth. We bring back a Midrealm tradition that hasn't been seen in over ten years!

Parties

Friday night
Veranda Party and Bardic swim
Join us in song and merriment on the veranda. Weather permitting, the pool will be open for a non-traditional bardic circle. Test how well you can sing while treading water. The veranda party is brought to you with help from our co-conspiritors from Baile na Scolairi: Angelique Michele d’Herisson, Vivienne de la Chartreuse, Mary Buchanan, & Ellen of the Scholars." And the letter G.

Saturday night
Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves Party
The Tribe Rakset al-Nehri of the Shire of Dark River welcomes you to an evening of dancing and merriment, a themed party for the Gypsies and Pirates among us. Seek the wisdom of our fortuneteller, use your bartering (or pirating) skills to gather the most doubloons, and a prize worthy of your efforts awaits you. Dance and drum around our fire, or merely rest your weary bones. Refreshments will be available in a get it while it lasts setting¦. so come early, and stay late. The activities begin at O’dark Thirty.


Dancing
European dancing will be held immediately following feast. Dances will be decided at dance teacher's whim. No dance teacher has been chosen at this time. (also to be decided on a whim)

Waffles
The House of the Golden Bee will be hosting a Waffle breakfast on Sunday morning. Waffles made by real Belgians. (Ok, so Belgian decent…) For a small price, you can fill your belly before you head for home.
