This was the first Pelicanate Vigil book that Eidiard was requested to create. This book was
requested of him by Viscount Sir Edward Zifran of Gendy from the East Kingdom.

Design inspired by a period book from the late 14th century, French. Black Moroccan goat hide over
composite birch boards filled with a text block of hand laid French heavy weight papers, as would be found
in the area. It has a six band spine. It is inlaid with 99.995% pure sliver leaf by hand in a geometric
design on the cover.
