Lucina la Frepiere

Lady Lucina la Frepiere

Lucina is from a family of fripperers…dealers in second-hand goods and “frippery” sewn from used clothes…in England in the early 1300′s. Her brothers gave her a French nickname as a joke for her interest in the fashions of other courts. Widowed twice and with two grown sons, she works in the family business, travels when she can afford it and dreams of travel when she can’t. On her mother’s side she comes from a very long line of women named “Lucina,” one every few generations, as far back as…well, the name is Roman.
