Her Ladyship, the Honorable Lady Finche Odhinnsdottir – (formerly, Finnseach de Locheil)
Finche is a 5th century Orcadian (from the island nation of what Rome calls “Orcades“) happily married to Eidiard, a 7th century Pict from Aber. She describes herself as a retired scribe while she explores the textile arts – particularly spinning and weaving. She is a member of the Middle Kingdom’s Guild of Withie and Woolmongers, as well as a member of Atlantia’s Guild of the Silver Spindle.
Finche is protegee to Master Brusten de Bearsul (called Boar’s Bane) and apprenticed to Meisterin Katarina Helene von Schönborn. She is also a student (foster-apprentice) of Mistress Eithni ingen Talorgain for Pictish Studies where she hopes to learn much from the first person to be laureled specifically for Pictish studies.
Finche is currently serving as Dernehealde’s Seneschal (because she felt weird not having an office after a year and a half off from all offices).
