We hold business meetings twice a month at the Carlisle Reservation Visitor Center. Shire members start to arrive at 7 pm and the business meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
Heavy weapons and rapier fighter practice is held every Sunday (except for holidays or event days) at The Canine Club, Lorain/Elyria area, 41909 North Ridge Rd (Rt. 254), Elyria, OH 44035 during the winter months.
This cold weather site is completely indoors, heated, and has public restrooms. There is ample space for heavy weapons and rapier combat as well as available space for arts and sciences classes or work. (Please wear warm clothing as "heated" is adequate for the fighters but is not always warm enough for spectators.) The kids are welcome to visit, too. No pets due to the nature of the business that is hosting us. Donations toward the site fee are always welcomed.
