Here Flaming Gryphon treats with Atlantia
The Baronial Tapestry is embroidered in the style of the Bayeux Tapestry, and illustrates an important event in Baronial history.

Long ago, with war looming on the horizon, the Middle kingdom sent members of our barony to the Kingdom of Atlantia to persuade those noble lords and ladies to side with our Middle Kingdom against the Kingdom of the East. By dint of delicate negotiation (and, it is rumoured, chocolate-chip cookies) the Atlantians were won over and declared that they would join us in the upcoming conflict. For this deed, the King bestowed upon the Barony of the Flaming Gryphon the award of the Purple Fretty.

This tapestry was the Baronial Artisan project of Mistress Drea di' Pellegrini, aided by several members of the Barony of the Flaming Gryphon. It is embroidered in wool--some handspun by lady Thea the Spinner--on a linen ground.
