At the Grand Tournament of the Unicorn, Lord Nicholas of Wicklow (called Niko) & THL Soffya von Kulp (Tom and Judith Bolenbaugh) were invested with the coronets. More details on the polling process that led up to this glorious event are below.

Notes from the 7/13 Baronial Meeting

• Anyone who claims the Barony as his primary SCA group, whether member or not, can have a poll. All members in our geographic boundaries, and anyone who is listed in the Gryphon Pages (with the Barony or one of the Shires as his primary group) will get one in the mail. Anyone else who wants one needs to contact Alexis and make arrangements to get one. Her contact information is here.
• There will be no age limit on who gets a poll. We, as a group, are counting on the honor of the parents of children too young to vote competently to abstain for them and not use the child's vote as if it were their own.
• The internal poll will start this weekend at Push for Pennsic, and continue until September 8th, which is the deadline to have your poll postmarked. It will be conducted as an Australian rules poll (a 3/2/1 voting system where the voter rates his top 3 choices and those choices get an inverse number of points based on their rating).
• The exact timetable for the final polling is not known at this time. It will be comprised of the top 3 or 4 candidate sets (depending on how the initial polling breaks), and once it is mailed, we will have 2 weeks to respond.
