Class Descriptions
Alexandrian Greeks and Monks of the Sinai.
Monks and ideals, and Saladin's and Richard's African disaster. From the earliest times, people went to the deserts and swamps of the Nile to meditate, to Alexandria for its library, and to the Holy Land for pilgrimage. This idealism both increased and destroyed the spread of knowledge. Saladin and Richard also destroyed a civilization in Africa.
