The Marche of Gwyntarian is the Akron/Kent area chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an organization dedicated to recreating life in the Middle Ages. Gwyntarian, founded in A.S. 9, (1974) is part of the new Barony of Brendoken, in the Midrealm. Anyone interested in the Society or Medieval topics is welcome to attend our meetings. We meet in Akron every Thursday except the week of the last Friday of the month, (our Dance Night) when we meet in Kent. Consult our Calendar if you are interested. Meetings begin at 7:30, visitors are always welcome and encouraged. Garb (medieval dress) is also encouraged, especially on Dance night, but not necessary. Fighter practice is held on Thursday evenings, concurrent with meetings (No fighter practice on Dance Night). Please consult our Marshall for further information.
