A reminder to all Midrealm marshals:
Your reports are due to me by June 1. I have my report due by the 7th so this does not give me a lot of time to compile all your information. I need your SCA name, membership number and expiration date,mundane name, address, phone number and e-mail addy. Tell me what you have done over the winter and early spring.... have you run classes, attended events and thrown, marshalled events I want to learn how active you are.... however, I know that summertime becomes the real time to play.

I am in need of a drop dead deputy. The guidelines for applicant to be considered: able to attend Pennsic, willingness to share ideas of how to promote thrown weapons, attend Pennsic, ability to run a tournament when called upon, be able to step into this position if something should happen to me..... hopefully you will not have to do this.....able to attend Pennsic. (Do you see a theme) Next year (2005) you would be expected to attend both weeks of Pennsic. This person would get copies of my quarterly reports and kept abreast of the kingdom business in thrown weapons....
If interested, I would like to hear about your marshalling experience....competitions as MIC, assistance at events... etc. Sell yourself to me of why you would like this position.
Please note: I cannot guarantee that you will become the next Lt. General just because you are the drop dead.

The kingdom championship tournament is at 1:00 pm on June 19 at Baronial Border War hosted by the Canton of Rimsholt in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It will a knife, axe and spear competition. The king has been quite explicit in making sure that all contestants know this is a Kingdom Championship (not a King and Queen Champions) and the winner will not become a member of the Van Guard. I hope you will come, meet me and have fun on the tw field.
