Greetings,
I would like to introduce myself as the new Lt. General of Thrown Weapons. I am Elayne Thorne from the Barony of Illiton. I am looking forward to meeting many of you on the thrown weapons field at upcoming events. I would like to continue the practice of each region having a competition to select the top two winners.
The Midlands had their competition and the top winner of 13 contestants after a tie-breaker run-off was Rathulfer from Baile na Scolairi and the runner-up was Baron Gareth Thorne of Illiton. As I learn of dates for the other regions, I will pass the information on to you.
I have been in touch with His Royal Highness and there will be a competition for a Kingdom Thrown Weapons Champion. This competition will be held on June 19 at Baronial Border War hosted by the Canton of Rimsholt in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I hope that many of you will come out and test your skill against each other.

I would like to thank Sid Hacmin ben Yosef from Illiton for his many years of service as the Midlands assistant deputy. He decided to step down and has been replaced by Vladymyr Orendorff from Baile na Scolairi.
