Their Royal Majesties have decided that archery and thrown weapons can continue using the same awards at this time. They would like to see more thrown weapon activities throughout the Kingdom and for us to go, enjoy ourselves and have fun. So to that end, I would like to ask that all marshals make sure there are thrown weapons at events, that the populace enjoy themselves on our range and have fun!
So as a reminder, the awards that can be received by throwers are the Dragons Barb: The Order shall be given to individuals who, in the sight of the Crown, have shown proficiency on the field of thrown weapons or exemplary service in furthering such field. The other award is for the Order of the Green wood Company: The Order shall be given to individuals who, in the sight of the Crown, have shown excellence in two of three areas of thrown weapons: skill, service and the arts and sciences.
Please send award recommendations for the Greenwood Co. to THL Dominique at dominique@waveone.net. Service can be served by any individual, not just marshals.
I wish to remind all the autocrats, please include thrown weapons as part of the activities scheduled for your events. Thrown weapons does not take a big list field and can be enjoyed by all. If you need help finding a marshal, contact your Regional Deputy of Thrown Weapons for assistance
