On June 2nd you posted about Pennsic a note which included the following
which I have excerpted.

Please explain what reduction in services you are refering to. The only change
in chirurgeonate services that I am aware of is the addition of a secondary
chirurgeon's point at the base of the lake, and improvements in the electrical
supply, emergency communications (ie radios & pagers, phones), and golf carts.
This is the first year the chirurgeonate will have available golf carts that
can seat 4 or more people. This will let us send 2 chirurgeons to an incident,
and bring them back along with the ill/injured party and a spouse/parent/
friend to chirurgeon's point.
While I sincerely hope there will be a reduction in the number of people
requiring the services of the chirurgeons, the availability of those
services should be significantly increased due in no small part to the
increased support of this years autocrats over prior years.
If the number of injures continues to increase (179 fighting related at
PW 23, vs 106 at PW 22) and the number of chirurgeons volunteering continues
to decline (76 at PW 23 vs 99 at PW 22 actually worked) inevitable the level
of care will suffer, but it has not yet, nor do I nor my staff intend to let
it decline at Pennsic 24.
