[Middlebridge] swords, kids, injuries

  I was beating on the telephone pole yesterday when the 6 year old girl from
next door came to bug me. At one point she was hanging on to my sword, and I
was using it to pick her up a la barbells. She let go. I curled the sword
full force ito my nose. Kids and weapons don't mix.
  
When we've done the "bop-the-knight' thing, the hittee has sword and shield
and blocks a couple shots just to give the kid his moneys worth. Good
thing, too. some of those little bra...um..darlings pack quite a whollop.
 Then there was the adult who wanted to try, and did one of those twirl
around and hit full force things. Jan just stepped back and let him spin
himself into the ground.
