Speaking as a fighter, I whole-hearted agree. More displays of the
fighters devices, whether banners or small wooden shields, would add so
much colour to the event. I admit that, were I to fight in a Crown
(soon, I hope), I would want to display my device as prominently as
possible!
Also, would it not be courteous and proper to have the fighter's
consort's device displayed as well? Especially if s/he is fighting in
the finals? After all, are we not all fighting for the honour of our
ladies and NOT ourselves?
