What I objected to [to Illinois going principality} was not any
real or imagined objection from upsyairs, but rather the concept
that Illinois had no regional identity and that nobody seemed
willing to do the grunt work. This may have changed in the last
six months, but I have neither heard nor seen it. I think the
old adage that Glenn Campbell told about money and a wild pig's ass
comes to mind here...
...but Illinois can resolve these difficulties, I'd be a supporter
of principality status again, just as I was before nothing happened
(ass I said at the regional meeting in January).
