Heh. Yeah, we Atlantian's were pretty impressed when Midrealm brought us
umpteen bajillion backlogged award scrolls. In fact, the only scrolls I
have were done by Midrealmers and imported to Atlantia a couple of years
ago. My thanks to whoever was involved in that. They didn't sign the back
and so I don't know who made them.

Atlantian scrollmaking is not anywhere near so proactive. There was no
scroll for me at my pelican ceremony. Fern didn't get one either. That's
fairly typical.

In an Atlantian context, this method makes the Crown's job easier. They
don't have to track any paperwork at all. I hand them the card, they give
out the award, add that information to the list, and toss out the card. No
additional papers for the Crown to lug about and file.

I'm learning that many of the differences between Midrealm and Atlantia
are due to relative size. Midrealm seems so big!
