Before she starts with needle and thread let me ask a few questions. 1. Is
the device she wants to put on the back of her cloak Her device that is
regestered with the SCA in Calif. Is this her actual family device? I ask
these because the devices we use in the SCA are not ment to be real family
crests and if it is not registered at this time then what happens if it
doesn't pss for one reason or another in the feture and she has already gone
to all that work . If more people used their Known World Handbooks a lot of
these Questions would not come up . Please read your book. That is what it is
there for. If you don't have one , Get one! Ask you Chatelaine where to get
one. That is what she is there for, To answer all the questions newcomers
have.
