[Mid] Awards in the SCA

Good Gentles;

   Having read a lot of Gentles personal interpretations of what is
required for an AoA, it seems like it might be a Good Thing(tm) to look
up the requirements for considering Gentles for a specific award.
   There is room for interpretation, but perhaps not as much as has been
suggested. Some of the requirements stated by various Gentles, in what
they look for in recommending an AoA, I have found stunning. I rather
wonder what is expected of those who might be considered for awards
beyond an AoA?
  Look for excellence? Of course, but as so many are so fond of saying
when it is their ox being gored, this is "only a game." How hard do you
want to make it for folks?
