[Mid] Spurs

Good Gentles,
There was a Twelfth Night which had as an activity a competition for
costumes based on fairy tales. I got out my cavalier based on Der
Rosenkavalier, added an appropriate face, paws and a hairy chest and
presented myself as Puss in Boots. Now Puss comes with spurs of golden
hue and he wore them.

Sure enough there was one individual who took it upon himself to take me
to task. I should have known better. As a matter of fact I did.
During feast the cat face came off and so did my boots.

My reply, "Cats do not obey regulations."
