Purple I do yeild to your logic and posting. It's just that some people
get bugged by posers with their 'BIG' swords being waved around like
phalic symbols. They get disgusted when they see a good piece of steel
get mistreated. They are just expressing themselves as would anybody
else who say a child, wife, girlfriend, pet, ect. get mistreated and
misused. Our little group has taken the sword as one of our symbols. It
represents what and who we are. Like the American flag, Canadian Maple
Leaf or the Scottish Thisel, the sword represents SCA and SCAdians
everywhere. Maybe you don't give a damn about how somebody treats the
symbols of the society but there does seem to be a group that does.
