I absolutely agree with you. There are many reasons for wearing a
sword, and frankly the reason couldn't matter less to me unless it were to
actually use it.

Did I say that? I was only stating how I feel. How you construed
that to be a judgement on how people should live their lives is beyond me.

Now this has gone too far. If you recall, my view is that anyone
should be allowed to wear what they want and those who are upset by it
should just relax. Nowhere did I say that everyone who wears a sword is a
fool, nor that they should feel foolish. I plan to wear my sword someday
when I feel I have earned the right. I am an authorized fighter in the
lists of the middle kingdom, but I believe my persona would not wear this
weapon at a fair or in the streets, a good stout cudgel being fine for my
purposes. However, I do not hold anyone else to my standards and believe
other people should be allowed to live their lives as they see fit as
long as it harms no one.
Political considerations aside, I was perfectly willing to coexist
with you peacefully until you accused me of "getting down on everyone
simply because you don't agree with them". I DO NOT stand for being
falsely accused and if you wish to discuss it further I suggest you
take it up with me personally.
