[Mid] SCA combat vs. REAL combat!

        Hi, folks. The sword-wearing thing has brought up several people
pointing out how different SCA simulations are from actual swordfighting.
Just for the fun of stirring up an old hornet's nest, I wanted to see
other peoples' opinions and analyses of this subject.
        Yes, I know they're not the same, for two(2) important reasons and
a whole host(47862) of lesser ones, but I'm not going to say what they are.
I just want to see what the rest of you think. Besides, we might see some
interesting arguments as to why they're the same!
