Well, the way I see it, if we understand the why, we understand THEIR
motivation. And if we understand OUR motivations, perhaps we can graft
the enthusiasm of theirs on to ours.
I am not suggesting that it will work, because we have no uniform
motivation for why we do what we do...At best, it would seem that we can
manage small scale histories. Personally, I think this is okay, very
valuable and more human in scale.
