  If a group of people were to agree to undertake such a task - and I will
  add the word 'colossal' conservatively as it is probably bigger than
  that - then they would be in charge of contacting gentles from all the
  Kingdoms and ascertaining if they would consent to speak about their
  experiences.

The East Kingdom Historian has been interviewing people for a long time, and
transcribing the interviews. Is that the sort of thing you mean? (That is
a much better example than the Mormon version of "ancestor worship".)
