I do not believe that is what Finnvarr, or the SCA, meant. The
educational mandate (from what I've read) is for the members to
educate each other. Therefore, having local group meeting workshops
about various historical topics does fulfill the SCA's educational
mandate! It might not be as efficient as it could be, but that is
another topic.
