Well drinking jugs? Well I for one don't know any one who makes wood drinking
vessels for the mass market. Most items of this nature are imported. As to
leather drinking vessel craftsmen: those are few in my past experience. I use
to cover small glass (pop/soda) bottles with leather and use a loop to attach
them to my belt.
I don't know if a jug would be a good idea for me. I tend to set things down
and walk off with out.
It is possible that you are catching a regional variation or the beginning of
a fad. Either way make the most of it. these things change all the time.
Remeber those chain and bead hair netting thinges a few years ago! I can't
recall the last time I saw one of those.
