hi!
This is a qwickie as i have a doc appr in 45 minutes and I will respond
to your other letter when I get out...
There may be a confusion here...8-) Upton-Paggles is the Manor-creation
of lady Alysoun de Roos (White Waters) and she has a number of us
"living" on or near her Manor, and relating what we go through as if we
lived there. I was relating a change that actually occured in Period.
That is, when there was a change from leather and wooden drinking vessels
to clay ones.Since I attend many markets, and get to see much, I was
relating to her my observation of aspects of that change. Previously,
handled small drinking vessels (cups and the like..) of clay was
comparatively rare. But wood started getting more dear as did leather.
(Not good to waste on such projects) Coupled with the affects that wood
and leather have on drink (and the drink has on those types of vessels!),
the change over happened pretty qyuickly..
So, in the context of being Upton-Paggles prominant potter, I was
reporting this back to Her Wor'ship, lady Alysoun, as it might have an
affedt of the Manors economy...
[We have fun this way...8-) ]
Love ya!
