It would be great if the pieces that we're talking about still
existed...most are so bad that they(conservators) were not able to save them.
However the photographs taken of these pieces are inconclusive because you
can't actually see the weaves.
By the way, the type of weaving that I am talking about is card or tablet
weaving which is a warp faced technique and sometimes that further obscures
the design of the actual weave....
