Greetings!
Down here in Ansteorra we had (until very recently, when one moved) three
Sir Galens. The first, Viscount Sir Galen of Bristol; the second, Graf Sir
Galen Kirchenbauer; and third, Baron Sir Galen Niccoli.
They were(are) known, respectively, as Galen Classic ('cause he was the
first) , Cherry Galen ('cause if you pronounce his last name with a soft
"ch" instead of a hard "k" it means cherrytree), and Galen Lite ('cause he
is also a Don).
They were knighted within a fairly close period of time, which led to an
influx of squires wanting to change personas, or at least their names to
"Galen". :)
on another note.....
Let me intoduce myself, as a new visitor to your list. My name is Ld.
Timotheus Kranidious and I live in the Barony of Raven's Fort, Ansteorra.
(Huntsville, Tx.) I have been involved in the Sca down here for about 2
years, but got my start about 12 years ago as a young teen in the Shire of
Blackhawk, in your fair kingdom. I am most glad to be involved again in the
society, and have many fond memories of my first contact with the Dream
(does anyone remember the "Feast of the Seven Sins"? I sure do.)
Hoping to see many of you at Gulf War VII, I remain....
