Did you talk to Solomon ben Jacob the Levite in Caer Anterth. He might be
able to find you someone who is a Laurel and is willing and able to take on
apprentices at this time... Also,let me check and see if I still have the name
and Email address of the gentleman who was inquiring about the Kingdom B&V
guild and see what he might know.
Another step that might be taken by you and other members of the B&V guild
is rather then just seeking a Laurel to apprentice too, start entering every
B&V competition that is within the realm of possibility for you. Someone,
whether an Laurel or not,will probably notice.
Also beccoming involved in non SCA related guilds and talking to alot of
people will help one to learn a lot about particular areas of interest.....
Get to know the people where you buy your winemaking supplies( for me that was
the people at the Purple Foot in Milwaukee).They have some expertise or
perhaps will know someone who does...
