I just phoned the Grand Valley Blood Program and asked about this donating
So all you Rimsholters, consider donating, eh?
In service in more ways than I ever expected, Hana Lore
blood thing where I could credit it to His Grace. She said it would not be a
problem at all. Then the big news (for me) came when I listed the drugs I take
and she said that my blood could be donated regardless of them (Seravent &
Vanceril inhaled; Zoloft & Klonopin pills... as long as I wasn't taking the
Klonopin for seizures). I was so elated that I could donate blood. It's been a
decade since I last tried, due to the spate of meds I've taken. But I have been
able to pare down significantly in the last year. And I am so happy to be able
to help ANYONE, but especially someone I would like to call a friend. Certainly
someone I care about very much.
