Ok, I suppose I should throw in my thoughts.

I barely knew Scott Hall. Most of what I know of him came through
friends of mine who knew him well. He was a good man, and from all I've
seen and heard did more good here than ill. He was always ready with a
joke and a smile.

Jafar al Safa I was honored to know somewhat better. I trained
against him before and after I authorized and his advice helped me through
some very frustrating periods of training. Of all the advice I was given,
only his worked consistently.
Jafar was a splendid warrior and a good teacher, but he was a
whole man in his own right. He ruled with spirit, humor and life. He was
gentle to all I ever saw, save his foes. And to those he accorded honor
and respect.
Finally, Jafar was a symbol, because no man can exist in the
public eye without representing something. But he was, and always shall
be, a symbol of virtue, honor, kindness, nobility and joy. From Jafar, a
smile was a blessing and a solemn nod an acknowledgement of your own
nobility. He was king when I joined, and I was looking forward to seeing
him reign again. It always seemed fated that he would.

Now I, Aaron Bilodeau, acknowledge that Scott Hall was a good man
and Jafar a great one. I regret the passing of them both and wish I could
have known them better. Jafar touched the lives of so many people around
me I cannot help but be saddened by our loss. I can only be happy that he
managed to do so much good while he was here.

But I, Corwyn Draca, am struck by the loss of a teacher, a prince,
and I man I would have liked to call friend. There is nothing I can do to
ease the hole he has left in the lives of his friends, his family, and
those who loved him. But I can aspire to the path he walked through the
kingdom. I can try to master what he tried to teach me in a few spare
moments, and I can live by the example he left. And if I ever fight for
the crown of this kingdom, I will fight for the reign he never had. I
can't replace him, but I can try to give as he gave. In the only ways I
know how. That is my tribute to Jafar.

        Corwyn Draca,
        Shire of Mynydd Seren
