All right, time to step in and mediate here :-)
I appreciate Badges concern for my Ladys interests in this. He was very
chivalrous in standing up to protect a Lady. I thank you for that Badger. And
yes, he did step back a _bit_ on that honor in the way he went about it. But
could we please remember that we all have a lot of strong emotions in us where
Jafar is concerned and take is as an "Oops, I messed up and let my emotions
guide what I know is right" and leave it be? If I am reading this right

it seems that Lord Badger had an excellent teacher in the Art of Chivalry and
now realizes what he did was _not_ chivalrous and is merely giving himself a
moment to cool down before he steps forward to rectify the matter.
Lord Badger, I applaud your ideal and sincerely hope you can make amends and
show us just how well you have been taught by a great man.
