I was told the last time this came up that he was indeed on Death Row.
Well, in any case, he's in the pen for contract murder.
And as Tibor pointed out earlier, his knighthood and ranks have not, to his
knowledge, been formally revoked by the Society. At least one kingdom used
to banish him at the beginning of each reign as a sign of displeasure,
though.
