        Actually, I'm rather curious about how adoption was handled in the
middle ages. Not just as an unwanted pregnancy alternative, but as a
common practice in some cultures, such as fostering among nobles. What
kind of familial relations did this create? I've heard stories, but does
anyone know the reality of the situation?
