Re: [Mid] "Feasts"

My lord,
I understand your desire for smaller feasts and having to watch your
portions. Part of the reason, I believe, for such large feasts is not a
desire to "display ones' culinary prowess" but it is actually period. To
my knowledge, feeding your guests large quantities of food was a show of
both generosity and the richness of your house/family. If I offend, I
apologize.
