[Mid] The Auction for Her Highness( at T-G-S 12th Night)

Greetings!
Because of your generosity in donating auction items,and *buying* said items,
I have the honor to report that at the end of feast at Tre-Girt-Sea's 12th
Night last Saturday,my Lady,Maggie of Cnoc Cait delivered into Her Highness'
hand $1506.

$1471 was raised in the auction(with some folks adding more to their checks
than they had actually bid)and the Barony of Illiton sent a donation of $35
which raised the total to over $1500.

Over a dozen merchants donated items to the cause,including one merchant who
was at an SCA event for the first time("Forever Amber").Over thirty
individuals donated items-there were 40+ lots to auction-we had to quit
accepting donations so as to keep to the allotted auction time! For those who

Thanks again most kindly to *everyone who helped-from donations to set up to
bidding and buying.
