Mercury for the world, this is an amazing book. I enjoyed it much more,
I think, the second time. It was there in the back of my brain, saying,
"If you are interested in the Chronicles of Froissart, you should reread
ME!" So I did (had a heck of a time finding it, since I'd lost my copy)
and was I ever glad.
You want medieval-style heroic fiction written in extraordinarily
well-crafted language, this is it.

P.S. It was reprinted by Ballantine numerous times in the 1970s, so it
may be lurking in used book stores.
